Care and Cleaning
A Bowles Electrostatic Painting refinished bathtub should provide years of service when given the same care and maintenance recommended by all the leading new tub manufacturers.
DO use only non-abrasive, liquid cleaners like Mira-Clean, Formula 409, Fantastik or even dishwashing soap.
DO rinse thoroughly and use a soft sponge to wipe down the surface.
DO NOT use any liquid or powder cleansers that contain abrasives, bleach or strong acids.
DO NOT use steel wool, brushes or abrasive sponge pads.
For best results, spray the surface with your liquid cleaner and let it penetrate for 3-5 minutes before scrubbing. It’s best to use just a cloth or sponge to scrub the tub. Do not allow any cleaners to remain on surface for an extended period of time before thoroughly rinsing off.
